The income from the foundation's assets is intended to provide contributions to needy blind individuals for attending schools, learning a profession, and further training or retraining in their professional activities. Contributions can also be granted for medical treatment (including operations) to cure blindness and for physical rehabilitation. Contributions can also be made to homes, schools, and other institutions that serve the aforementioned purpose.
