The foundation's purpose is to provide care for the employees of Ferrum AG and their dependents against the economic consequences of old age, loss of earnings due to illness or accident, and disability, as well as in the event of death, in the sense that a one-time payment can be made to the dependents to cover their initial needs. The foundation may also be joined by personnel from companies that are economically or financially closely linked to the founder, provided that the rights of the existing beneficiaries are not impaired. The foundation may also make contributions to other tax-exempt pension institutions to which the founder is affiliated; in particular, regulatory employer contributions can also be financed within the framework of these pension institutions. The purpose of the foundation can be achieved through the conclusion of suitable insurance contracts or by entering into such contracts. In any case, the foundation is the policyholder and beneficiary.
