The company's purpose is to hold, manage, and sell participations in other companies, both domestically and abroad. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and/or abroad, and may participate in other companies in Switzerland and/or abroad, acquire, hold, encumber, and sell real estate or intellectual property rights in Switzerland and/or abroad, as well as conduct all commercial, financial, or other transactions that are directly or indirectly related to the company's purpose. Furthermore, the company may grant loans or other financing, with or without compensation, to its direct or indirect shareholders, their direct or indirect subsidiaries, and third parties, and may provide securities of all kinds for the obligations of such persons or group companies, including guarantees, pledges, and fiduciary transfers of the company's assets. Additionally, the company may engage in or participate in liquidity equalization/net liquidity centralization (cash pooling), including periodic balance adjustments (balancing), with group companies, and do so without consideration, on preferential terms, interest-free, without the intention of making a profit for the company, and by assuming clumping risks.
