The foundation aims to promote education and training as well as child, youth and elderly care in the municipality of St. Margrethen (SG) and other municipalities of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, in accordance with the following provisions: the foundation supports and promotes children and young people under the age of 27 who live in the municipality of St. Margrethen (SG) or in other municipalities of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, particularly in the areas of care, education, sports, arts and culture, especially where public bodies and institutions cannot or can only inadequately provide support. This scope of the foundation's purpose is realized in particular through: the development and implementation of its own programs and projects in the area of the foundation's purpose; the support and promotion of programs of non-profit, tax-exempt associations and foundations or legal entities of public law that are active in the social, sports and cultural fields for children and young people under the age of 27, with the allocated funds to be used with a focus on the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. The foundation also aims to support elderly persons who have reached the age of 75, in the areas of health promotion, care, medicine, care and social interaction, with a focus on the municipality of St. Margrethen (SG) and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. This second scope of the foundation's purpose is realized in particular through: the creation and promotion of offers in the areas of medical-therapeutic care, care, inpatient and outpatient care as well as social interactions for elderly persons in the St. Margrethen area and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley, whereby the foundation can take action on its own or support corresponding offers of other non-profit and tax-exempt foundations or associations as well as legal entities of public law; the provision of financial and material resources to elderly persons over the age of 75 who live in the municipality of St. Margrethen (SG) or in other municipalities of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley and who are in need of support due to their physical, mental or emotional condition or due to their material situation; the promotion of institutions, events and non-profit tax-exempt foundations or associations as well as legal entities of public law that provide basic work within the framework of the purpose. The foundation is active in the canton of St. Gallen within the framework of its purpose.
