The cooperative aims to provide its members with affordable housing and to preserve it, permanently removing it from speculation. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) Acquisition of building land and building rights. b) Construction and acquisition of single-family and multi-family homes that meet the cooperative's modern housing needs. c) Careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings. d) Construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. e) Creation of apartments and single-family homes for sale. To prevent speculative transactions, it may reserve the right of pre-emption, purchase and co-determination. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-driven. The cooperative may participate in companies with the same or similar objectives and acquire membership in umbrella organizations of non-profit building cooperatives.
