The association's non-profit purpose is to provide assistance to people in need. This is achieved through the provision of financial support to those in need, particularly the economically disadvantaged (emergency aid, counseling, integration and reintegration), children, young people and young adults (integration, education and training). Support is provided either directly or through trustworthy, state-recognized institutions. This assistance is intended to benefit people regardless of their origin, sex or nationality. The association is politically neutral, pursuing exclusively non-profit purposes, excluding any commercial or self-help purposes.
