The company's purpose is to: finance companies and corporations within the group of companies to which the company belongs, as well as acquire, manage, encumber, exploit and alienate registered assets and other formalities; grant guarantees of all kinds and loans to companies and corporations within the same group, as well as conclude treasury arrangements in one or more currencies with financial institutions and group entities to which the company belongs, whether as a participant or as a distributor, even without adequate consideration; borrow in any form and issue bonds without public offering, which may be convertible, and issue debt securities; conclude and/or sell listed derivative products, including but not limited to currencies and interest rates, options, regardless of whether such contract or trade is necessary to cover the company's exposure, with entities within the group to which the company belongs; sell currencies, securities and asset values in general, with companies within the group to which the company belongs; conclude periodic payment agreements, annuity contracts, pension plans and financing agreements; hold participations in any form in other Swiss or foreign companies, acquire by purchase, subscription or any other means and alienate by sale, exchange or any other means of securities, bonds, claims, bills and other values of all kinds, as well as own, administer, develop and manage these participations; in Switzerland, any operation prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE) is excluded; hold participations in partnerships; in Switzerland, any operation prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE) is excluded; exploit and sell patents, trademarks, licenses, know-how, copyrights, databases and other intellectual property rights; provide assistance to any affiliated company, take all control and supervisory measures and execute all operations it deems useful in the fulfillment and development of its purpose (for complete purpose see articles of association).
