The cooperative aims to preserve and expand living and residential space in accordance with the following principles. It can acquire and manage additional properties beyond the property at Aalmattenweg 40/40a in accordance with these statutes. The Aalmattenweg project is a self-help, self-managed living and residential space determined and managed by the cooperative. The goal is a vibrant, multi-generational community with high individual quality of life and the prevention of speculation with properties. It is based on grassroots democratic principles and mutual solidarity. Decisions are generally made collectively and by consensus. Ideally, all residents should be members of the cooperative. Work for the project (cohabitation, maintenance, and management) is taken over by all residents according to their abilities and possibilities. This requires a high level of commitment and a willingness to take responsibility for cohabitation and the property. Long-term, favorable financing and a simple expansion standard contribute to making it possible for people with modest incomes to participate in the project.
