It has a non-profit character and, apart from building reserves and earning a modest return on share capital, does not seek to make a profit. The cooperative may acquire or dispose of plots of land (also in building rights) or real estate companies, excluding any speculative intent, as well as build, renovate, acquire, manage or rent houses. The sale of plots of land or parts thereof is also permitted.
