Genossenschaft Alterswohnungen Roggwil/Freidorf (GARF)

The cooperative aims to enable elderly, disabled and low-income individuals to live independently in their own homes. To this end, the cooperative can buy or sell properties and land, rent and lease properties, acquire building rights, and renovate properties and land. It ensures the careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renewal of existing buildings. The cooperative's activities are non-profit, politically and denominationally neutral, and not driven by profit. When renting out its properties, members of the cooperative generally have priority. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with similar or identical goals. It can be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, the Association of Non-Profit Housing Developers.
