The cooperative aims to provide its members with good and affordable housing through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It strives to offer spaces for all sections of the population, particularly for singles, families, people with special needs, and the elderly. It promotes coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. The cooperative can offer spaces for commercial services in its buildings. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: the acquisition of building land and building rights; the construction and acquisition of single-family and multi-family homes that meet the cooperative's modern housing needs; careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; the construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; the use of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; the management and rental of apartments on a cost-rent basis; the creation of apartments and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or building rights; the promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements; ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable and good housing. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar goals. It can be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, the Association of Non-Profit Housing Developers.
