The cooperative aims to combat the prevailing housing shortage, promote the settlement idea, and create and maintain affordable owner-occupied homes for the population by: a) maintaining the property located in the Gwad quarter on Quellenstrasse in Au/Wädenswil, cadastral number 5475; b) preserving the single-family homes in the settlement; c) establishing building rights in accordance with Articles 675 and 779 of the Swiss Civil Code and selling them primarily to cooperative members and exceptionally to third parties; d) maintaining the green spaces, facilities, slopes, and paths in accordance with building regulations and the neighborhood rules, as well as promoting all ideal and material interests associated with the settlement community; e) establishing a neighborhood ordinance.
