Granting of mortgages to non-profit housing developers and to buyers of residential property for personal use, in particular by receiving and passing on funds from bonds issued by the Emissionszentrale für gemeinnützige Wohnbauträger EGW. Also undertakes other measures to promote and procure affordable housing for the construction and acquisition of residential buildings or apartments, excluding any speculative intent. Pursues in particular the purpose of promoting affordable housing construction in the sense of the federal Housing and Property Promotion Act (WEG) as well as corresponding cantonal or communal ordinances. May acquire or sell plots of land or real estate companies, build, acquire, manage or broker houses, as well as sell them.
