The cooperative aims to provide its members with good, communal, affordable living space and, alongside this, commercial and cultural space, while enabling ecological, sustainable, and diverse forms of housing. The cooperative promotes biodiversity and sustainable land use. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) the acquisition of building land and building rights, as well as the construction and acquisition of properties that meet the cooperative's modern needs; b) careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; c) the construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; d) the use of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; e) the management and rental of living spaces on a cost-rent basis. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies, associations, or organizations with the same or similar objectives. The cooperative focuses on mixed housing for families and individuals, communal and diverse forms of housing, as well as the integration of living and working spaces.
