The potager partagé cooperative aims to promote, at the local level, socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable and diverse agriculture, the promotion of biodiversity in the cultural landscape, and the direct supply of its members with organic food, at least according to the guidelines of BioSuisse. It operates according to the principles of community-supported agriculture and in a self-designed and self-managed cooperation and participation between consumers and producers on an equal footing. The cooperative members plant and garden, harvest and cook, eat and celebrate, transcending social and cultural boundaries. They approach the place and all those involved with respect and cultivate a careful interaction with each other and with the soil, trees, meadows, shrubs, and crops. Thus, the cooperative strengthens the connection to local agriculture and makes it directly tangible how soil, seasons, growth, and the work put in are interconnected.
