The cooperative pursues, in joint self-help and co-responsibility of its members, the purpose of creating, maintaining and offering space for living, working and public use. The cooperative seeks to achieve its purpose through: a) the acquisition of building land and building rights; b) the construction and acquisition of properties that meet the needs of the cooperative in a timely manner; c) careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; d) the construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; e) the use of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; f) the management and rental of spaces on the basis of cost rent; g) the promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements; h) ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable and good housing. The activity of the cooperative is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives.
