Operation and maintenance of the water supply system for the village of Entlebuch through joint self-help and for the benefit of its members and water consumers; supply of connected properties with drinking and utility water within the available quantity; ensuring a constant quality of water in accordance with food legislation; operation of the hydrant fire protection system for its supply area in accordance with the cantonal law on fire protection of November 5, 1957 and the guidelines of the cantonal building insurance; construction and maintenance of pipelines and hydrants with associated facilities for water procurement, possible treatment, pumping and storage.
