The cooperative supplies the population, commercial, industrial and service companies in its supply area with drinking and utility water within the available quantity through mutual self-help. It ensures a quality that permanently complies with food legislation. The cooperative takes over the public water supply, including fire hydrant protection, within its supply perimeter defined in the regulations and performance agreement with the Mixed Municipality of Diemtigen dated January 19, 2016, on behalf of the Mixed Municipality. It constructs and maintains its pipelines and hydrants with the associated facilities for water procurement, possible treatment, pumping and storage. It can obtain drinking water from other supplies, deliver it to them or participate in such supplies.
