The cooperative is non-profit. Its purpose is to provide its members with affordable housing through construction, financing, and purchase, to permanently remove it from speculation, in order to realize self-managed, secure, and communal forms of housing. Commercial spaces can be acquired and maintained as part of residential properties. Similarly, commercial properties can be acquired with the intention of converting them entirely or partially into residential space. In the final construction, the properties must have more residential than commercial space. For further details, please refer to the statutes.
