The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population, particularly families, people with disabilities, and the elderly. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: the acquisition of building land and building rights; the construction and acquisition of single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; the construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; the use of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws; the administration and rental of apartments on a cost-rent basis; the creation of apartments and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or building rights; promoting cooperative activities in the settlements; ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable, healthy, and good housing. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not profit-driven. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar goals.
