The foundation exclusively pursues charitable and philanthropic purposes. It can promote, financially support and award programs, projects and non-profit organizations, institutions and activities that serve the public interest and counter extremism and intolerance. In particular, the foundation can promote and support gender equality and the empowerment of women, as well as promote and mobilize young people through art and sports. It can also promote and support interfaith dialogue, strengthen responsible governance, human rights and the rule of law. The foundation is active in Switzerland and abroad.
