This involves advocating for legal frameworks, policies, and regulations at national, regional, and international levels, as well as engaging in legislative processes, providing assistance, and sharing expertise to strengthen the legal protection and enforcement mechanisms for these rights. - **Advocacy and Representation:** Act as a unified voice for audiovisual artists and their collective management organizations by advocating for their rights and interests in international forums, negotiations, and discussions. The Association aims to collaborate with other relevant stakeholders, such as international organizations and industry bodies, to ensure that the concerns and perspectives of audiovisual artists and their collective management organizations are effectively represented. - **Collaboration and Standardization:** Encourage and facilitate cooperation and the exchange of best practices among member organizations. This includes establishing principles of best practices, standards, and procedures related to the technical, legal, and administrative aspects of collective management activities for audiovisual artists. - **Multi-territorial Exploitation:** Support initiatives aimed at effectively enforcing the intellectual property rights of audiovisual artists regarding the multi-territorial exploitation of their performances or works.
