Recognizing that private investors and the private investment industry play a crucial role in supporting innovative strategies to address the world's most pressing environmental and social challenges, the Foundation brings together a community of private investors, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, politicians, international organizations, and academics committed to improving the state of the world by accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy through positive impact investments. As an independent and impartial partner, the Foundation identifies, analyzes, and shares information on relevant issues and themes for the investment ecosystem. It encourages significant action and cooperation to create sustainable value for the economy and society as a whole. Furthermore, the Foundation aims to strengthen Switzerland's and particularly Geneva's role as a leading global financial hub for innovation, highlighting the benefits of the diversity of Geneva-based actors, such as financial institutions, wealth managers, international organizations, NGOs, world-renowned universities, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, and facilitating dialogue among these actors. The Foundation is non-profit and has no political or denominational character. The founder reserves the right to modify the Foundation's purpose under Article 86a CC. This modification may occur when at least ten (10) years have passed since the Foundation's establishment or the last modification made at the founder's request. This right is inalienable and does not pass to the founder's heirs. The Foundation's purpose may, at the request of the Foundation's supreme body or the Supervisory Authority, be modified by the competent cantonal or federal authority when the nature or scope of the original purpose has changed to the point where the Foundation no longer clearly reflects the founder's intentions.
