The purpose of the foundation is to pursue charitable and humanitarian goals both domestically and abroad, specifically: Supporting children and young people in their educational and vocational training; supporting people in need, particularly children and young people; supporting high-achieving athletes and ambitious artists; and supporting non-profit organizations and institutions that care for people in need. To achieve its purpose, the foundation supports and promotes, among other things: Enabling education and training in general; promoting educational and vocational training as well as sports education; self-help assistance; combating discrimination; access to food and medical care; poverty reduction; opportunities for a self-determined life in dignity; and personal development opportunities for people in need. The foundation operates selflessly and exclusively pursues non-profit goals. It does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. The foundation can pursue goals both domestically and abroad. It is politically and denominationally neutral.
