The purpose of the company is the acquisition, holding, administration and sale of participations in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, excluding participations in funds in Switzerland according to the LAFE. The company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to third parties as well as to affiliated companies, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect affiliated companies, as well as guarantees for the commitments assumed by such companies, also by establishing pledges on or fiduciary transfer of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, regardless of whether they are remunerated or not. The Company may open and maintain branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, hold participations in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, carry out activities and conclude agreements aimed at promoting the purpose of the Company or that fall directly or indirectly within the corporate scope. The Company may acquire, manage, sell and maintain real estate in Switzerland and abroad. The Company may grant direct or indirect financing to affiliated companies as well as to third parties, and provide guarantees or collateral of any kind in favor of the aforementioned companies. In particular, the Company may grant direct or indirect financing to controlled companies or to the direct or indirect controlling companies of these companies or to the direct or indirect controlled companies of the latter, as well as to third parties, also through the granting of pledges or fiduciary transfer of the Company's assets, even if these guarantees or collateral are granted without remuneration or compensation.
