The Association's primary purpose is the development of ecologically sustainable and cutting-edge technologies in the field of public and tourist lake transport, as well as cooperation with shipping companies and other associations with similar goals, both in Switzerland and abroad. The association is committed to: raising public awareness of the importance of ecologically sustainable lake transport and the electrification of navigation; promoting the importance of developing ecologically sustainable and cutting-edge technologies in the field of public and tourist lake transport to the public, with the intention of creating a favorable framework for its goals; encouraging the exchange of technical knowledge and experience in the field of ecologically sustainable lake transport and the electrification of navigation; promoting Switzerland as a reference destination for ecologically sustainable lake transport; strengthening financing activities in the field of ecologically sustainable lake transport; serving as a reference for ecologically sustainable navigation; supporting educational activities aimed at disseminating knowledge in the areas in which it operates. The Association may conduct any type of business and conclude any type of contract aimed at promoting its purpose. The Association may acquire, sell, and manage real estate and commercial funds - Swiss or foreign - not subject to the limitations of the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LAFE). The Association does not operate any commercial establishment, does not pursue commercial purposes, and is non-profit.
