Guardian Stiftung

The purpose of the foundation is to promote the administrative framework and governance rules of MakerDAO and support the stability and growth of DAI. To this end, the foundation may promote and finance corresponding activities and projects, hold shares in a one hundred percent Luxembourg-law-based company (Luxembourg Guardian) and hold and grant intellectual property rights and/or license rights. The foundation may transfer the fulfillment of its tasks to the Luxembourg Guardian. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit. The foundation operates globally and may establish and operate subsidiaries to achieve its goals. It may assume all tasks that may arise within the scope of its activities, except for the sale of its shares in Luxembourg Guardian.
