The company's purpose is to implement the total revision of the ordinance on breeding within the framework of the agricultural policy, PA22+, decided by the Federal Council, which places breeding programs at the center of priority. The company represents the Haflinger horse breeding programs in Switzerland through the five main sections of the studbooks (LGO), also known as the Haflinger-Pentagon. The sections are: 1) AAG-Txx (stud farm breeding) representing the HPT breeding program; 2) AAP-Tha (private) representing the HPT breeding program; 3) BCP representing the A.N.A.C.R.Ha.I breeding program; 4) CXP representing the F.N. breeding program belonging to the breed; 5) CX-E representing the F.N. breeding program not belonging to the breed, non-breed section: CX-R, register, not belonging to the breed and therefore without LGO. The company is responsible for the first registration and assignment of the Universal Equine Life Number (UELN) with the alphanumeric country code (CH): 756, breed (Haflinger): 016, section (3 letters), sequential number of the foal, year of birth. The company also classifies the breeding programs in the original studbook organizations in the central database, which can be consulted online at any time on www.duzb.ch/zb. Furthermore, the company issues Certificates of Origin for the original studbook sections (LGO) and provides advice and mediation for breeding foals (horses) to its members. The company may also carry out all commercial, financial, movable or immovable transactions, the latter only if they are not subject to the Federal Law on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners of December 16, 1983 (LFAIE). The company may also acquire participations in other companies and, in general, carry out all operations having a direct or indirect connection with the company's purpose in Switzerland and abroad. The company may have subsidiaries or establish branches in Switzerland and abroad.
