The purpose of the company is to hold, manage and control participations and other proprietary and obligatory rights in domestic and foreign real estate and real estate development companies, as well as to finance projects directly or indirectly, both domestically and abroad, in particular real estate projects and scientific and (forward-looking) technical projects, as well as companies and projects that require restructuring. Excluded are transactions prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad (BewG). The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad, participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad, and perform all legal acts and conduct all business that is directly or indirectly related to its purpose. The company may acquire, hold, manage, encumber, utilize and dispose of real estate and intellectual property rights in Switzerland and abroad. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties, as well as provide guarantees, sureties and securities of all kinds for affiliated companies and third parties, or otherwise secure or guarantee obligations of these companies.
