The purpose of the foundation is to support organizations and institutions, as well as schools and universities, that are primarily dedicated to promoting needy, talented, and highly gifted students, but also to support scientific and cultural projects. The foundation aims to support, for example, Swiss Youth Research (SJF) or the Swiss Study Foundation e.V. through donations and awards, just like the German Youth Research Foundation e.V. or the Germany Scholarship to promote needy, highly gifted students. However, the foundation also wants to support non-profit projects through donations and awards in the fields of science, particularly in the MINT areas (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology), and cultural non-profit projects. The non-profit purpose of the foundation, as mentioned above, is to be realized in particular through the sustainable allocation of earmarked donations, grants, awards, and other forms of support to promote the general public in the above-mentioned framework, whether through donations or through its own projects. The foundation operates within the scope of its purpose throughout Switzerland and the Federal Republic of Germany. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit. It is exclusively active for non-profit purposes.
