The foundation pursues its purpose in four areas of activity. The following lists are not exhaustive; they have an exemplary character. The foundation board is free in the allocation of funds. There is no obligation to pursue all mentioned goals or to support the pursued goals equally. 1. Financial assistance, in particular in the medical, health and nursing fields, as well as the payment of related insurance premiums for employees and former employees of Angst + Pfister AG and its subsidiaries, as well as their spouses and children, to the extent that they are unable to cover such costs themselves. 2. The educational and training support of the descendants of employees and former employees of Angst + Pfister AG and its subsidiaries in a comprehensive sense, for example through financing or financial support of education (after completion of compulsory schooling) and/or university studies up to the age of 25 or a doctorate up to the age of 28; promotion of their health; promotion of their education towards self-responsibility; promotion of their understanding of the connections between science, technology and nature. 3. Financial assistance to employees and former employees of Angst + Pfister AG and its subsidiaries to improve their pension claims through voluntary payments to provident institutions and to cover gaps in AHV contributions, to the extent that they are unable to cover such costs themselves. 4. The promotion of children and young people in Switzerland and abroad in a comprehensive sense, for example through promotion of education and training; promotion of medical care; promotion and protection of physical and mental well-being; promotion of education towards self-responsibility; promotion of children's rights. Within this area of activity, both individuals can be supported and donations can be made to institutions in Switzerland and abroad that are active in the corresponding non-profit fields, such as the Kinderdorf Pestalozzi foundation or terre des hommes schweiz.
