Appreciation, representation and preservation of the person and work of Hans Konrad Escher von der Linth and the preservation of the Linth work. This purpose is achieved in particular through: publishing activities; acquisition of contemporary historical documents (engravings, books, pictures, plans, etc.); organization of exhibitions; lecture activities; promotion of investigations that continue to pursue the problems addressed in the Linth correction in the present; establishment of a permanent exhibition (Linth-Escher-Auditorium); grants to third parties within the framework of the foundation's purpose; protection of the interests of the Linth work and the foundation's purpose, in particular by taking appropriate measures. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
