The foundation aims to: preserve the paintings and artworks that belong to it as a collection; make the paintings and artworks that belong to it accessible to the public; promote research on Hans Ripper and his paintings and artworks. If the foundation has more resources than required for the preservation and exhibition of the paintings and the research of Hans Ripper's life and work, it may acquire additional paintings and art objects and support cultural concerns of all kinds at the discretion of the foundation board. The foundation decides in what form the paintings and other art objects belonging to the foundation are made accessible to the public and the foundation's resources are used. There is no legal entitlement to the foundation's services.
