The foundation aims to: support and promote the existing non-profit Geigenbauschule Brienz foundation, in particular by providing one-time or recurring grants to the operation, expansion and support of projects initiated and implemented by the Geigenbauschule Brienz foundation; to annually award a sponsorship prize to the best graduate of the Geigenbauschule Brienz school, led by the aforementioned foundation, with the foundation board defining the modalities and requirements of this award in a regulation; to support public concerts on instruments from the Geigenbauschule Brienz; to support foreign violin-making students who complete their training at the Geigenbauschule Brienz. The foundation has an exclusively non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
