The association aims to a) provide a meaningful meeting place at Lange Gasse 7-9, Basel, which combines social, cultural, educational, therapeutic, and medical fields of activity in the sense of anthroposophy and makes the two thresholds of birth and death visible and tangible as poles between which life unfolds. b) finance training courses, seminars, workshops, and lectures in the field of health with a preventive purpose around the topics of birth, early childhood, dying, and life in between. c) finance access to offers in the field of physical and mental health and education, regardless of income. The association fulfills its purpose in particular by: a) providing financial contributions to training courses with a preventive character. b) financing or co-financing event and rental costs to enable publicly accessible, income-independent, and public events such as seminars, workshops, or lectures in the premises of the meeting center Lange Gasse 7-9 or in other premises rented by the association. c) necessary financing of the costs of the laying-out room in the premises of the meeting center Lange Gasse 7-9, to ensure that all people have open access to a dignified farewell of their deceased relatives. d) contributions to low-income individuals for the participation of children in the playgroup for early childhood and the parent-child group. The framework conditions for contributions to low-income individuals are set out in an internal regulation. The association is to be the bailee of the property at Lange Gasse 7-9, Basel. It will manage premises itself for the purpose of pursuing its purpose, but also rent out premises.
