to promote local development in South Africa and other developing economies by connecting professionals (working abroad or locally) who wish to support local institutions that would benefit from philanthropic aid for the purchase of products, goods and services for their current activities and their contribution to the sustainable development goals as public interest institutions; the association's action is governed by the following principles: manifest apoliticism: it ensures that it is not associated with any political party or current; a resolutely enlightened approach, aware of historical sensitivities and the challenges related to the themes of discrimination, extreme inequality and human rights in the world; promotion of innovative development approaches, including by leveraging the latest research on impact investing and being aware of the difficulties raised by the provision of philanthropic donations to developing communities; addressing the difficulties arising from the weakness of local infrastructure, by turning risks into opportunities.
