The foundation aims to promote education, popular and vocational training, including student aid, the promotion of international understanding in the sense of promoting tolerance in all areas of culture and international understanding, as well as the promotion of science and research. The focus of the foundation's work should be on conveying a Christian-humanitarian basis that is suitable for practicing and living internationality and respect for other people and cultures. The foundation pursues public or non-profit purposes and is politically and denominationally neutral. The foundation does not pursue commercial purposes and does not strive for profit. In particular, the foundation should form the following focal points of promotion: Promotion of the education and training of particularly gifted or otherwise worthy small children, children and young people through sponsorships, assumption of training costs, financing of additional education and training measures, etc.; Promotion of the scientific education of students through scholarships, support or (co-)financing of scientific work; Promotion of young people from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds through special lectures, discussion forums, seminars, trips, visits to institutions, language courses; Promotion of research, specialist and study work for the purposes pursued by the foundation; Support for institutions or projects that are suitable for conveying positive life perspectives to underprivileged young people.
