HERMANN GEIGER-STIFTUNG (HGSt)

Financial support for mountain and air rescuers and their family members who are in need and live in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein, or have worked with Rega in rescue services outside these countries. Additionally, the foundation can take or financially support measures that serve to commemorate the Swiss national hero Hermann Geiger (*1914 +1966), who as a courageous rescue pilot in the mountains and especially as a glacier pilot achieved pioneering achievements and saved over 4,000 human lives in tireless efforts.
