The purpose of the company is to trade in goods of all kinds, including agricultural products, raw materials and finished products, both domestically and internationally. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and participate in other companies in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, manage and transfer intangible assets, such as patents, trademarks and technical and industrial knowledge, provide technical and administrative consulting services, and acquire, hold and sell real estate in Switzerland and abroad. The company may participate in group financing, in particular by granting loans to its direct or indirect shareholders or other group companies, or by providing guarantees or other securities for their liabilities to third parties, even if these loans or securities are in the exclusive interest of its direct or indirect shareholders or other group companies and are granted free of charge. The company may provide direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries and third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, for its own liabilities and those of other companies (including direct or indirect shareholders of the company or companies in which these shareholders are directly or indirectly involved), provide securities of all kinds, including by way of pledges or fiduciary transfers or assignments of the company's assets, or provide guarantees, enter into suretyships or otherwise secure or guarantee the obligations of these other companies, whether for consideration or not. Furthermore, it may engage in cash pooling with the aforementioned companies or join such a system, including periodic account balancing. All of this may be done by the company without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the company's profit motive, and assuming lump risks. The company may conduct all other business that directly or indirectly promotes the aforementioned purposes.
