The company's purpose is: the acquisition and management of financial participations in all commercial, financial and industrial companies and all operations directly or indirectly related thereto, with the exception of operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE); the exploitation, transformation and development of real estate. Furthermore, it may carry out, either on its own account or on behalf of third parties, all financial, commercial, movable or immovable operations directly or indirectly related to its corporate purpose and may be interested, in any form, in all similar companies, in particular by taking participations in similar companies. The company may also establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. It may grant loans to third parties or to its associates, short-term or long-term, with or without security, create a pledge in favor of a third party, or create mortgage certificates to cover credit facilities granted to its associates.
