The foundation aims to support and promote projects and research activities worldwide in the following areas: protection of wildlife, plants and the Tibetan population in the Himalayas and the Tibetan Plateau, protection of fauna and flora, nature conservation, specifically rewilding and reforestation, protection of indigenous peoples and their knowledge, women and children in connection with their education, self-help support and poverty alleviation, training of young talents in science, particularly from disadvantaged social backgrounds, ecological sustainability and green economy, as well as medical research on life-threatening diseases. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation can provide services and contributions to private and public institutions. The foundation operates within the framework of its purpose both domestically and internationally. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit, and it does not pursue any self-help purposes.
