The purpose of the company is to acquire, manage and dispose of participations in domestic and foreign companies of all kinds. The company may grant direct or indirect loans or other financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries, as well as to its direct or indirect shareholders and the companies held directly or indirectly by them, and provide collateral of all kinds for the liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or by guarantees of any kind, whether remunerated or not. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries, also under other names, in Switzerland and abroad, and acquire, encumber, sell and manage real estate.
