1. The company aims to promote sports and physical activity, and in this context, in particular, the construction, management, rental, and operation of the Beachsportanlage Weyermannshaus ('Home of Beach') with a national beach volleyball performance center. 2. Subject to the provisions of section 3 below, the company may engage in all activities and enter into transactions that are incidental to its purpose, including organizing sports events of all kinds, acquiring, holding, granting, and disposing of properties, rights to properties, and perpetual usufructuary rights, participating in companies, or collaborating with third parties in other ways. 3. The company is managed according to economic principles but is not profit-oriented within the meaning of Art. 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. The funds generated will be used, in particular, for the further development of the Beachsportanlage Weyermannshaus and additional offers for youth and junior development in beach sports, primarily those of Swiss Volley.
