The purpose of the foundation is to disseminate a culture of respect for human beings, regardless of gender, ethnicity or religion, emphasizing - through specific awareness-raising interventions - the inalienable freedoms expressed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights. The purpose of the Foundation will be pursued through the use of media and digital platforms; through conferences, information campaigns and conventions aimed at both the public and specialists; producing, directly or through third parties, through audio/video and scientific publications aimed at disseminating the culture of Human Rights. The Foundation is totally independent, non-profit and does not pursue commercial purposes. The Foundation is apolitical and non-denominational. The foundation can participate in organizations, programs and events that share the same purposes. The Human Respect Foundation operates both in Switzerland and in other European countries.
