Coordination of the common international interests of the international member associations of the dental trade and manufacturing companies; representation of their interests vis-à-vis government and administrative authorities as well as vis-à-vis dental professional organizations, in particular the FDI, World Dental Federation; coordination and organization of international dental exhibitions with the aim of maximizing efficiency and profitability for exhibitors and visitors; global promotion of cooperation in the dental industry through information exchange; cooperation in the areas of legislation and standardization concerning dental equipment and accessories and mutual acceptance of testing conditions.
