Representation and promotion of members' interests, in particular through the fulfillment of the following tasks: exchange of ideas and experiences in technical development, logistics and IT; cooperation on technical matters, in particular in safety technology for the purpose of preventing accidents in companies and on the road as well as in environmental protection issues in the production, storage, transport, application and disposal of industrial gases; mutual assistance in emergencies; representation of members' interests externally, in particular in dealings with authorities and organizations as well as participation in national and international bodies, especially with regard to standard-setting; can also offer training and education as well as develop recommendations and guidelines.
