The Foundation pursues the following purposes: a) Improving the quality of education; b) Supporting and promoting research, communication and development in the education sector; c) Enhancing the impact analysis of existing educational opportunities and concepts, in particular by collecting and providing data; d) Creating guidelines for needs-based and impact-oriented education; e) Fostering synergies through the establishment of networks in the education sector. The Foundation fulfills its purpose in particular through the development, promotion and support of its own projects. Within the framework of the Foundation's purpose, the Foundation may also support and promote projects, organizations, institutions and individuals that are committed to the aforementioned purposes and provide assurance that grants received from the Foundation are used efficiently, economically and in the sense of the purpose of the Insights for Education Foundation. The results of the Foundation benefit Switzerland as well as emerging and developing countries. The Foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. A subsequent change of purpose in accordance with Art. 86a of the Swiss Civil Code is explicitly reserved.
