to promote industrial ecology at the level of scientific reflection with universities and specialized schools; to promote the practice of industrial ecology through public, national and international policies; to contribute to the development and implementation of research programs in the field of industrial ecology and green economy; to organize conferences and colloquia related to the practice of industrial ecology; to promote reflection on the link between industrial ecology and the green economy; to execute public and private mandates in the field of industrial ecology and the green economy; to promote the popularization of the practice of industrial ecology and the green economy in the context of development cooperation; to this end, the association may engage in any activity necessary to pursue its social purpose, such as teaching, continuing education, creating chairs of teaching in industrial ecology and the green economy at the international level, and any other useful activity in the aforementioned fields.
