The company's purpose is to hold and manage investments in other companies. In addition, the company may invest in, establish, acquire, and merge with other companies of any kind, both domestically and abroad. It may acquire, encumber, and dispose of real property and intellectual property rights, both domestically and abroad, and establish branches and agencies, both domestically and abroad, by resolution of the Board of Directors. The company may engage in all commercial, financial, and other activities that are related to the company's purpose. Furthermore, the company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect parent company and all other affiliated companies, and provide security of any kind for the obligations of such other companies or shareholders, including by pledging or fiduciary transfer of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether for consideration or not.
