The association networks the non-profit operators of retirement and care homes with business locations in the municipality of Zurich (hereinafter referred to as institutions) with each other and with industry associations and other partners in the market. It creates and utilizes synergies at the strategic and operational level. It represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis political authorities, the public and the market with the aim of influencing the development of the framework conditions for the operation of the institutions in the interest of the association's members.
